ATP Day 3 (Rye)

Last day. A good start when I realised that I couldn't locate my credit card. After some frenetic searching, I decided I must of left it at the reception booth when I had to pick up all the ATP paraphernalia. I headed over to the check-in desk, but they didn't have it. Not having a Visa number to call, or my bank details, I finally found a number for my travel insurance that was meant to be able to help me out. I didn't manage to get through and eventually gave up. I went and checked out the rest of the bands and we stayed up until about 6am.

Brightblack's instruments sounded pretty amazing... and although the songs tended to drag a bit, I quite enjoyed it.

I was spewing I missed Neil Hamburger. He was telling was very poor taste jokes... I'm sure I would of loved it. People told me some of them, they were horrible.

Only caught two and a bit Faun Fables songs. Both very different. The last one was kinda cool, a happy dancy kind of tune. Some of their "theatrical" things like holding up postcards while singing didn't really make me think this was a new future for music. Everyone seemed to be raving about them afterwards though.

Mum were the last feature band of the night. They sounded good, but I wasn't really into it that much. I just wasn't in the mood for that kind of music. The few songs I knew sounded good though.

In the early hours of the morning, I bumped into (well, they bumped into me actually) these dickheads that were jumping around the dance floor with careless regard and generally looking like they wanted to cause trouble. Oh well, pretty good for three days to only have such problems now. One nearly knocked me off my feet at one point, so I reciprocated. Nothing much happened, went back to dancing around like idiots. It was good fun.

We went back to the chalet with some guys from an Icelandic punk band, that's name translated to Puke. They were cool and one guy ran back to get John a t-shirt, a cd of theirs and an echinancea tablet for Sarah, who had lost her voice at some point after not going to bed the night before. That Berocca I gave her the night before must of kept her going ... or else she was too scared I would make her drink another glass of it ;).

Strange after thought, I don't recall seeing or hearing about anyone throwing up the whole ATP.
