Really Cheap Perfumes In Asia - Are They For Real?

Cheap Perfumes can be found throughout Asia in stalls. I had always wondered if these remarkably cheaply priced perfumes that look the deal really smell the part.

My sister asked me to buy her some perfume at an airport of a specific brand. I decided to put the cheap perfume to the test. It comes in packaging and the bottle looks very much like the real thing. I did notice some imperfections in the bottle.

At the time of looking around the cheap perfume stalls, I had a friend along. My friend tried sniffing a few scent tester bottles at one stall and decided that some definitely weren't scents he was aquainted with and others did seem to be the real perfume. A tricky seller could always get a real bottle and put it down as a tester, but I think this would be unlikely given the real costs.

Lost Credit Card - What Happens When Travelling

Lost your credit card whilst travelling? A very good way to mess up your holiday.

I lost my credit card once at the start of what was going to be a proposed 6 month holiday. That trip turned out to be a bit of a rollercoaster and only lasted about 2.5 months, but losing my credit card was the first big dip... actually, that was missing my first flight. Sleep... such an important thing ;)

When I first realised I had lost my credit card, I panicked...

After I had calmed down a bit, I went to the place where I had last used my credit card (and presumably lost it). Unfortunately for me, the credit card was not there.

Thailand - Cambodia Visa Run - Pattaya/Bangkok - Siem Reap/Phnom Penh

Thailand is such a nice place, but they only give me a 1 month visa for free. Since I was planning on staying longer than that, I needed to go on an infamous visa run.

For those not up with the visa run terminology, it basically means exiting the country you are currently in (Thailand) with plans to return shortly there after with a new visa. In Thailand a tourist visa is not extendable past the one month provided. This means you really do have to leave the country or start paying fines when you finally do decide to leave. In Thailand I believe a fee is imposed for each day you go over your visa end date.

Low Fare Airlines Explained - Take Advantage Of Cheap Flights

Low fare airlines amaze me. Companies like Ryanair often offer fares for pretty much nothing where you pretty much only pay the airport taxes. Even their regular fare prices are amazingly cheap.

Travellers are very lucky to be able to take advantage of some of these fantastic offers being made by this new breed of airline.

Low fares do not necessarily mean a poor service. There are probably more risks, like your flight being cancelled or not receiving the kinds of benefits you might receive from a full fare airline like Thai Airways, eg if you miss your flight.

Low fare airlines do normally mean low frills. Part of their budget saving measure are normally to remove perks like free food and drinks. Frequent flyer type programs tend to be out as well.

Thailand Domestic Low Fare Airlines

Thailand has a number of cheap domestic airline options. Travelling by plan is normally the quickest way around a country and some of these domestic airlines can provide you with a flight at a very reasonable cost.

It can also be argued that it is probably safer to travel through the skies of Thailand than the roads!

Thai Air Asia
I have flown Thailand Air Asia many times and I struggle to recall a flight that has taken off on time. At this stage I am willing to invest in other options. See Air Asia - Quality Cheap Flights Throughout Asia for further information about Air Asia.
